A little more about us

VFS was established in 1998 by Raymond Joubaud, former General Manager of Lombard Odier (Gibraltar) Limited and founding member of GFIA (The Gibraltar Funds & Investment Association). The company was set up at the behest of a few Swiss managers who needed help establishing their investment management operations in Gibraltar. To address this request, the VFS investment manager platform was created and tailor-made to suit the requirements of each manager. Upon the advent of funds legislation in Gibraltar, VFS diversified into this field by obtaining a fund administration licence to add to their service offering. Armed with portfolio management and fund administration functionality, obtaining an AIFM licence in 2015 was a natural progression for VFS.

Since its inception, the company has evolved into a multi service offering, fuelled mainly by our drive to fulfil our client’s requirements to the best of our abilities. Whenever possible we will accommodate and if we cannot, we will go the extra length to find another solution for our clients, this is the nature of our company.

With our numerous services and tailored approach, VFS truly caters for the small manager wishing to fully benefit from the advantages of a small, well established, low tax jurisdiction.
